Let's PLAY!

Today I received my PLAY! membership card which means that I can rent DVDs from the PLAY! kiosk @ Sengkang. Initially, my brother had already subscribed to be a member. I wanted to become one as well but the location of the kiosks were not within distance, so I decided not to join until of late when I saw the PLAY! kiosk installed at Compass Point! Looks like it will be a fun time for me.

Wanted to do OT today as it is my rest day but then decided not to as I have my studies to complete and notes to write. I weighed them against the planned OT and decided there and then that it was worth the while to stay at home and finish up what I have planned to finish. I might say that I am pleased with myself with the progress that I have made, although I have yet to do the discussion questions!

I think I will sleep early today as I was watching the Champions League semi-final between Liverpool and Chelsea. Liverpool did play well, by my standards, albeit a few scares and near misses by the Chelsea contingent led by Jose Murinho. Can't wait for the 2nd semi-final and what better way than to be played @ Anfield! You'll Never Walk Alone!

The Malacca Trip

Ah yes, the Malacca trip was excellent..although we had identical food one after the other like sunday's lunch was the same as saturday's dinner! Once we reached Malacca, we tried all the nonya and baba food there was...Most of the group even ordered in advance what they wanted...But the only thing I was interested in was the pineapple tarts - my favourite! The Jonker (pronounced as Yonker due to Dutch influence) Night Market was great! Packed with good-looking chicks, great food and an almost electrifying atmosphere. By the time we got back to Hotel Equatorial, it was tiredness to the max! Took a few photos for you guys to have a look...

Birthday Coming Soon

As the 21st of April draws near, I have got so many things to settle. First one on the list would be my MGT2104 assignment, followed by my birthday preparations, lots of things to get and do and on top of that, I have to settle my IPPT as well. Don't think that I would pass the test but would take it anyway. Guess RT is next on the list... Will be going to Malacca. Come to think of it, I haven't gone out of the country for quite a long time. Looks like its going to be a very long week for me...

Nothing Much....

Nothing much these few days, although I must say that I shook hands with Sir Bobby Robson! He just happened to come through the Premier Lounge and managed to get an autograph from him... I think this would be the first time that I asked someone for an autograph!

Anyway, I'm getting quite sick of the people in my team, especially since 1 girl likes me...and unfortunately enough, it was someone whom I detest so much every since she came into T1. She is the most weirdest, psychopathic, talkative female I've ever seen and she has been telling everyone that she likes me... what a weirdo! and unfortunately enough, she is in MY team!!!

I'm trying for this job as a technician at the DSO National Labs...havent sent my resume yet but will be doing it soon... I can't procrastinate any longer.... I just wanna get out of here!

One Great Anfield Night

It was a great Anfield night this morning as Sami Hyypia and Luis Garcia both scored to give Liverpool 2 goals despite Fabio Cannavaro scoring for Juventus from a corner. The 1st half was absolutely fantastic with Liverpool attacking the Juventus goal wave after wave, everyone in the team was excellent, players like Gerrard, Le Tallac, Garcia were, in my eyes, the ones who played well. Baros, i feel, did not play as well as he would like to be. However, the 2nd half was quite the opposite of the 1st. By the 2nd half, Juventus had controlled and had possession of the ball but Liverpool managed to pull though... The score? Liverpool 2 - 1 Juventus.

I will wait for the 2nd leg of the competition and Im quite sure that Liverpool will deliver the goods.

Liverpool vs Juventus

Can't wait for todays match, The Champions League Quarter-Final match between Liverpool vs Juventus. This has been the first meeting between the 2 clubs since the Heysel Disaster in 1985. I hope that both sets of fans will respect each other during the match.

I feel reliefed asking Balan about my Supply Chain Assignment. As he was in the logistics line before, he had the expertise and so therefore I could ask him about my assignment. Most probably will be staying up to do the assignment until the match starts....

The Passing of Pope John Paul II

Today the 3rd of April 2005 will be a day remembered by Roman Catholics all around the world. The reason - The Passing of Pope John Paul II. I heard the news when I reached the airport. It was on Channel NewsAsia or CNA. We will all pray for the soul of the pope that he will meet the eternal father in heaven. There will be a mass at my church at 2000 hours for the pope. I will be going there.

As for today's work, it has been a most enjoyable one. Although it wasn't as good as yesterday but nonetheless, I can't complain further. Tomorrow, T1 ASU will be seeing a new replacement in place of Cpl (Acting) Roslan. The new replacement will be David Deocampo. I've heard some things about him but let's see how he works when he comes tomorrow. Apparently, it has come to my attention that Cpl (Acting) Roslan is seen as one who favours his race than the others, marks certain X-Ray operators until to the extent that they hate him so much and not being serious when it comes to work. Personally, I find him ok but sometimes he behaves weirdly. Anyway, I too am glad that he is gone.

Luckily, Peter Foo woke me up at 1515. Had a very good sleep today.. By the way, Liverpool will have to beat Bolton today...

As usual, I have put up a couple of pictures....Enjoy....
