Super Busy Friday

It was a super busy day for me yesterday. Blasted @ 2T8 for not behaving well, terrible class but I guess its just how they are. Anyway, Shar & I along with the Humanities, MT and D&T Teachers went to Kranji Sec for the IT Symposium. It was an eye opener for me as this is the first time that I have attended such an event. Will upload the photos later :)

By the time we packed everything and waited for the bus, it was around 1750 hrs. After that, I went home, had a shower and then went for band practice. Band practice ended at around 2130 hrs, I dropped Angeline off @ her home and then drove off to Jurong where I had to give a briefing to the housekeepers....

The day ended when I fetched Tua Pui from Ang Mo Kio and that was around 0050 hrs...

Busy Week

Woah....I have never been this busy before...Reservist from Monday to Friday, Baptism and Band Practice on Saturday, Choice Retreat House Cleaning today.... Super Packed man!!!

Funny thing is that I didn't enjoy the reservist unlike the past 4 ICTs...dunno why lei....maybe because I was thinking about some other things....I am so looking forward to my 1st concert after so many donkey years..hope it turns out well...

By the way, the concert will be held at North Vista's School Hall on the 9th of Sept from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. I thought of asking the Sec 3 Band Students in my school to come for the concert...People like Adeline, Desmond, Zoe, Ailine, Janet etc etc

Happy Birthday Singapore!

It has been 41 years since Singapore gained independence. Singapore has come a very long way (athough short to other people) but I think in these 41 years, Singapore has become a vibrant nation. Besides that, I didn't know that one of my ex-student from Springfield also shares the same birthday as Singapore...so Happy Birthday Renee!

Wont be doing much today though...Jeff will be coming later and so we will be jamming together...Might ask Lincoln (if he is free)....

The Wait Is Finally Over !!

Yes...it felt so good playing in a band again!! This time there were more people other than Angeline and I. A few juniors joined in and the exact number is 5. Met up with Angeline for lunch before we proceeded down to North Vista for band practice (words which I havent said in a long time!!!). We took a taxi down and met up with Charisse (my junior) and 2 other juniors of which they looked familiar but don't know their names...

We walked up to the band room and I unpacked my sax, while the rest were chatting about old times while waiting for their instruments. Once everything has been done, we went outside to try out the instruments...Had great fun as we sometimes went out of tune !!! After about 30 mins, we all went inside to play some of the pieces that we were supposed to play for the concert.

We started off with my all time favourite - Queens Park Melody and followed by some other pieces which I've never played before!!! But I guess I would need to have practice...Practice finished @ around 1615 hours after a few announcements. So, the "Thomson seniors" as we are known went to Compass Point to have some light refreshments and to talk about the good old days :)

I am so looking forward to next Saturday!!!!
