Liverpool 0 - 0 Chelsea

What a match! Even if I didnt watch the match, I would think that it would be exciting! 2 penalty appeals turned down in a match which promised so much ended in a stalemate...Jose Murinho must surely feel the heat by now! Looking forward to this weekend's premiership match which is (AGAIN!) Liverpool vs Chelsea... Already having 1 encounter in the Champions League is enough, still want to face each other in the Premiership! Liverpool must shut Murinho's BIG MOUTH once and for all!!!!!

Today is the day that Daniel Foo, the IT Trainer whom I'm taking over at Springfield Secondary has left...I think I should mention the school but I guess as long as I dont take bad about the school, I should be fine!

Anyway, I am really looking forward to the challenges ahead with the school!!!

Here's wishing both Daniel and myself all the best!!!

I Got The Job!!!

Yes yes yes! I finally got the job! Job Position is IT Officer with a secondary school...don't think that I should reveal the name of the school as I think that it would compromise my situation...I'm just glad that I got it!!!

A Job Interview...Finally!!!

I just came back from Choa Chu Kang...The place where I had an interview and boy was it a weird place to be having the interview at Macdonalds!!!! The following will show you what I was going through:

Woke up @ 0900 hours to the brightness of the day

Took TIBS 965 from Sengkang Int to Woodlands Int

The bus going down the ramp to the Woodlands Int (I think that this is the 1st time I've seen something like this for a bus interchange!!!!)

While waiting for the train, I took a pic of Causeway Point

Man, I found this guy really weird!!! (Picture taken discreetly of course!!!)

Compass Heights during the hot afternoon!

Another area of Sengkang in the hot afternoon

Still Looking For Job

Today, I woke up at 0730 hours and got myself ready to go to Seacare Manpower Services to register myself for a job. I took the train to Outram Park station, got out and walked to the bus stop. As I was at the North East Line Outram Park station, I had to walk quite a bit to reach the bus stop that was facing the East West Outram Park station.

Once there, I checked the bus route pasted on the board and made sure that I was taking the right bus. SBS 174 came about 5 minutes after I've reached the bus stop. Dropped @ the next bus stop and walked towards the Seacare building.

Once there, I filled up the application form and handed it over to the recruiter who explained to me what Seacare was all about. After I have told her what my preferences were, I thanked her and left the building...

Today @ Swensen's

Didn't do much today except installing the printer that I had underneath my desk to my mum's computer... Fetched Sharlene (my sis) to Century Square for her display thingy, brought Dad to the Ang Mo Kio flat to oversee the re-fixing of the rivets in the window panes, bought the lemon chicken rice from Blk 638 (must take a pic sometime!).

At around 4 plus, I went with Shimon (my bro) to Swensen's which you will see in the pic below...

Shimon playing with his phone while waiting for his ice-cream

Does the water @ Swensen's taste good???

Went to Bliss @ Punggol Park for dinner...Nice food, nice ambience, good looking waitresses...what more can you ask for???

Swim and School Logo

Today as I was talking to my friend on MSN, I looked towards the pool and just found it so tempting to go for a swim and I did!!! Unfortunately, the sun wasn't that hot anymore...What a waste!

I was on Friendster these couple of days searching for ex-classmates, ex-band mates, ex-army mates and now ex-supercamp mates .... so far I've found a few but still waiting for them to add me!!! It was so exciting because I have not seen them for a very long time and just curious what have they done with their lives.....

ThE LaST DaY

D-Day has arrived. On the 31st of August, I was doing my night shift and Charanjit Singh was the duty sergeant. When I first came to the locker, most of the guys from the other team who were doing the night shift were there. We had a ball of a time because former X-ray Stanley was making a fool of himself! We just kept on laughing and laughing!

By the time I changed, The guys have already been deployed. Leaving a few of us back in the locker. Saram and Terence came in with 2 packets of instant noodles (probably their dinner / supper) and started eating them. I took photos with Rudy, Saram, Terence, Nantida, Singh and a few others.

First deployment was West Concourse with Don. Started at 1 am and finished at 3 am with Terence and Saram taking over. Had Fillet 'O' Fish at the locker and chatted with Charanjit about army, hockey and certain ASAs. Next deployment was at D40 Jetstar Airways 3K691 to Hong Kong followed by D46 Thai Airways International TG402 to Bangkok. I didn't sleep the whole night and so was feeling groggy.

The last SSU was Bernard and we wished him the best of luck before leaving the gate. Went to the locker and gave back the clothes, tie and belt. Wished everyone in the locker all the best with the finale being Hidayat escorting Don & I out for the very last time. I will upload the photos as soon as possible....
