Teaching

So far, the teaching experience that I have with the school has been satisfying. Although some of the students were not up to expectation but in general, they were a good bunch to teach.

The school holidays have started but we still have work to do. The only exception is that a couple of students will be coming back for their preparation of the GCE 'O' Levels, which reminds me that I should really get started with my own studies!

I have got 1 more module left before I graduate and I need that extra push...I can't rely on others to push me right? I have to push myself and so far, I haven't!!

It must start on monday...no more procrastination!!!

Cousins house and dinner

Yesterday, my family and I met up with my uncle (my mum's brother), his wife, Angeline and Amy (both his daughters), Samuel (Angeline's soon-to-be husband) and Samuel's grandmother. We had lunch at Chef Chan, which was opposite the Raffles Hotel. After lunch, we adjourned to Angeline's new house which, by the way, was one smashing house! Here are the photos:

As for dinner, it was for David & Family. Because they were going to leave our neighbourhood at the end of the month, I decided that it was only right that a farewell dinner should be held for them. Here's wishing David & Family all the best for the future and their new home.

Teaching tomorrow

Tomorrow will be a very hectic day as I can foretell already. My colleague and I will be teaching the students Inspiration, Mindman and Goldwave which I think will be very beneficial for them. Will tell more when I write it down...

Feeling chatty today

Today after work, I didn't do much...bought myself a rum and raisin ice cream, went back home and basically slacked!!! Looked through my mobile address book and decided to call friends, both old and new. It was great talking to them over the phone as it brought back memories..I even made arrangements to meet up with them and so the conversation was definitely worth the while!!!

Vatican Treasures

Yesterday was the last day of the exhibiton 'Journey of Faith'. As it was free for the last 24 hours, you can expect the queue to be long!! And it definitely was! Actually, I'm not supposed to take the photos of the exhibits but some of them are really nice that I could not resist taking them!

Busy today....

I didn't really expect today to be a busy day but it is!!! I learned something new as well...how to use the OMR - a machine that is used to scan the multiple choice answer sheets, you know the ones where you had to use a 2B pencil and shade the box or circle? Thats the one... It was fairly easy to use and thanks to Johnson who has been fun to be with as well as patient! Thanks Johnson, I owe you one!

I also did a run today and had to as well. Remember the promise in my wishlist??

Still learning..

It has been about 5 days since I got my job and I'm still learning... Its good that I'm learning a new software so that I know how it works...

I also need to exercise as I have been eating too much!!! A 6-pack would also look good!!!! But I need to run first before the 6-pack can be attained.

What happened, Rafa?

I am so disappointed..... Never in my entire time watching Liverpool play have I ever seen such a thrashing.... Looks like Chelsea is way above the entire Premiership! Well, lets see how long they can last... Maybe a plane crash would do the trick or Mr Roman Abramovich suddenly becomes bankrupt... I think the 2 people that I hate right now would be Drogba and Murinho.. Drogba is good but can be very arrogant - xia lan in Hokkien and Murinho, even more arrogant - see bei xia lan!

I'm really keen to see how they can last until the end of the season...Murinho said that others must respect Chelsea... Huh?? Why should we respect Chelsea when in the first place you open your BIG MOUTH and discredited everyone in the first place???

The Bali Blasts!

This has been the 2nd time that Bali has been hit by terrorists and that sinking feeling hit again! My feelings go out to those who have died as well as to their families and the whole Bali community...Something should be done about these attacks.

Yesterday was the first Choice follow-up and although not many people turned up, the atmosphere was still here...I do hope that when the 2nd follow-up comes, more will turn up!!! I also took some photos while walking on the way towareds the Church of the Risen Christ...
