Malacca Trip

Just got back from my Malacca Company Trip. I had a whale of a time there and it was good as well knowing the staff better on a more casual level. John and I had an enjoyable time and hope to have more of the same when there is another staff trip! I have taken lots of photos and will be uploading soon!

Thinking....

I've been thinking of a couple of girls lately and was thinking that how nice it would be to just snuck in with anyone of them, that feeling of being loved and to love someone in return...How nice it would be but alas I'm still looking. I've tried but sometimes I just get so tired of always doing the calling and asking. Why can't the other party do the same? Maybe I shouldn't look at all.

I dunno but I've just got this feeling that I might remain single for the rest of my life. Things MIGHT change but at this point in time? It's SINGLE.

Workload

This week has been extremely busy for me. I find that the workload is getting more and more. Sometimes I don't even know where to start. I mean I don't mind doing it for the short term but in the long run, I don't think its possible.

Tim and I have been tasked with interviewing candidates for the position of Membership Executive and thats on top of the other workload that I have. Tomorrow I will have to sit down at my desk and sort out the things that needs to be done according to priority.

I would really have to sit down otherwise I will be bogged down by other things that don't really need that much attention.

On another note, I'm looking forward to the staff trip! At least I'm taking a break after almost 3 months of work!

A Super Sien Weekend

Normally, I would look forward to the weekend. But I feel super sien because tomorrow I need to wake up early to go for an X-ray for my pre-employment medical checkup, going to North Vista to do some admin work and later going for RT!

And on Sunday morning, I need to go for RT AGAIN! :( Reason why Im doing RT tomorrow is because of the staff trip that I'm going for. So no choice lor....Sien....but suffer now and enjoy later...

Busy Day

Had a busy day today. The new ED and Membership Services Manager started their 1st day today. Had an interesting day as well. Time really passed by fast as I was running here and there!

Lots of things to do as well as I had to cover for 1 colleague and 1 ex-colleague (I just hope that the person who comes in will stay for long and not leave!) It definitely has been a test of time management for me. Will have to sort it out tomorrow....

The weekend hasnt been entertaining. Had sectionals last Saturday. I'm ok with all of the pieces except for some parts of Autumn Leaves. American Grafitti solo is good to go. Mr Tan wanted me to try growling on the sax the week before last. I knew roughly what he wanted but I needed to practice! First of all, I need to find out how to "growl"...Harrrrrr....

Marsiling people also didnt come on Saturday. Guess they went for the Band Fiesta. After sectionals, went with David, Yan Hao and Marilyn to KFC to eat and had our meeting afterwards. Im happy that we could at least meet and sort out the different issues that were concerning NVAB although some of the committee members were not around.

It's another work week and hope to accomplish some of the things that I set out to do for work!

Meeting up with an ex-colleague

Today went ok...My first purchases came in - 2 LCD Monitors, 1 Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 and 1 HP LaserJet Printer. These purchases were not for my own use but for the company's! I'm happy that things are starting to improve around the office. Anyway, after work, I went to Wisma Atria to meet Phyllis - an ex colleague with whom I've worked with at Springfield Sec.

She looked really different (last time was long hair and now shoulder length hair) and it was good seeing her again :) We talked about what happened after the both of us left Springfield so on and so forth. Talked for about an hour until we left!

Autobots....Transform!!!!

Just got back from GV Bishan watching Transformers! Its like my dream coming through! After so long, this has been the moment I've been waiting for (well, sort of). It was great to see the characters that I've watched come to life! Although some Transformers have changed but overall I felt that the change was to keep up with the times. Michael Bay made the right choice in deciding that BumbleBee should be a Chevy instead of a Volkswagen.

Overall, I'm happy with the way the movie was being made. Action from start till end. If you guys haven't watched it, you don't know what you guys are missing!

As Optimus Prime would say, "Autobots....Rollout!!!!"
